Prior to the telecast Sunday of the Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings, NHL Network will televise the "Rogers Hometown Hockey" broadcast at 6:30 p.m. ET on CITY and the NHL Network in the United States. This week's location is Kelowna, British Columbia, to celebrate the city's iconic hockey story.

Among the features airing on the pregame show:

* Justin Schultz emerged as a coveted NHL free agent, but the turning point in his hockey career came in his hometown of Kelowna, when he joined the Pursuit of Excellence program.

* Drafted in the second round (No. 53) of the 2013 NHL Draft by the Washington Capitals, defensemen Madison Bowey is leading the Kelowna Rockets to the top of the WHL standings. The telecast will feature more about Kelowna's captain and the leadership qualities he brings to his team.
