OHL Roundup: Camapagna, Milano score for Whalers in shootout victory over Attack

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Matthew Campagna and Sonny Milano both scored in the shootout as the Plymouth Whalers edged the Owen Sound Attack 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Matt Mistele and Yannick Rathgeb had goals in regulation for the Whalers (7-9-1).

Daniel Milne and Petrus Palmu supplied the Owen Sound (8-4-5) offence.

Alex Nedeljkovic made 29 saves for the win. Jack Flinn turned aside 36 shots for the Attack.

Plymouth connected twice on eight power-play opportunities while Owen Sound was 0 for 5.

ERIE, Penn. — Alex DeBrincat had a hat trick for the Otters as they beat Sarnia.

Darren Raddysh and Nick Betz also scored for Erie (14-1-1).

Davis Brown and Nikita Korostelev chipped in for the Sting (6-8-2)

KINGSTON, Ont. — Mathew Santos and Brett McKenzie each had power-play goals as North Bay defeated the Frontenacs.

Mike Amadio and Nick Paul also scored for the Battalion (9-3-4).

Spencer Watson responded for Kingston (7-7-1).

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Tim Gettinger struck twice for the Greyhounds as they edged Belleville.

Zachary Senyshyn had the other Sault Ste. Marie (12-5-0) goal.

Remi Elie and Stephen Harper both scored for the Bulls (11-5-1).

GUELPH, Ont. — Nick Moutrey had two goals to lead Saginaw past the Storm.

Jacob Ringuette also chipped in for the Spirit (8-7-1).

KITCHENER, Ont. — Brandon Robinson had two first-period goals and added an assist in the Rangers' blowout of Peterborough.

Brent Pedersen, Nick Magyar, Darby Llewellyn, Ryan MacInnis, Mike David and Justin Bailey rounded out the Kitchener (9-3-3) attack.

Eric Cornel and Nick Ritchie replied for the Petes (5-7-3) who snapped a three-game win streak.

LONDON, Ont. — Max Domi had a hat trick and added an assist as the Knights skated past Windsor.

Michael McCarron and Matt Rupert also scored for London (12-6-0), which had four goals in the second period.

Slater Doggett struck twice for the Spitfires (6-9-1).

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Brandon Hope made 34 saves as Niagara shut out the Steelheads.

SUDBURY, Ont. — Andrew Mangiapane had a hat trick and added two assists for Barrie as it dominated the Wolves.

Ben Hawerchuk and Justin Scott both struck twice for the Colts (8-7-2). Matthew Kreis and Brendan Lemieux supplied the rest of the Barrie offence.

Jacob Harris and Matt Schmalz each scored for Sudbury (2-15-0).
