Datsyuk added a power-play goal in the final minute. Gustav Nyquist also scored — off an assist from Abdelkader — and Henrik Zetterberg had two assists. Jimmy Howard made 25 saves.
Troy Brouwer and Evgeny Kuznetsov scored for Washington, which has lost three of four.
