WHL Roundup: Hart scores winner as Prince Albert Raiders topple Kootenay Ice 3-2

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Jayden Hart scored at 13:43 of the third period, capping a Prince Albert comeback and leading the Raiders to a 3-2 victory over the Kootenay Ice in Western Hockey League action on Tuesday.

Josh Morrissey and Matteo Gennaro also scored for the Raiders (5-6-1), who trailed 2-0 midway through the first period.

Levi Cable and River Beattie opened the scoring for the Ice (3-8-0) with goals less than three minutes apart in the opening frame.

Nick McBride stopped 28 shots for Prince Albert. Wyatt Hofflin shouldered the loss with 33 saves for Kootenay.

HURRICANES 2 OIL KINGS 1 (SO)

EDMONTON — Jamal Watson scored the only goal of the shootout to power the Hurricanes past the Oil Kings.

Tyler Wong scored in the third period for Lethbridge (2-8-1), and Stuart Skinner made 46 saves through regulation and overtime.

Andrew Koep tied the game with a goal for Edmonton (7-3-1) at 10:53 of the third period. Tristan Jarry stopped 27 shots.

WINTERHAWKS 3 PATS 1

REGINA — The Winterhawks scored two power-play goals on four chances to secure a win over the Pats.

Keegan Iverson and Chase De Leo both scored with the man advantage, and Skyler McKenzie had a short-handed goal for Portland (3-8-2).

Dryden Hunt found the back of the net for Regina (5-6-1).
