Coyotes sign forwards McMillan, Szwarz

Forwards Brandon McMillan and Jordan Szwarz each signed a two-way contract with the Arizona Coyotes, the team announced Tuesday. McMillan's contract is for one year and avoids an arbitration hearing; Szwarz's is for two years. Financial details were not disclosed.

McMillan, 24, had six points in 22 games with the Coyotes last season. He had 11 goals and 26 points in 46 games with the Coyotes' American Hockey League team, the Portland Pirates.

A 2008 third-round pick (No. 85) of the Anaheim Ducks, McMillan has 13 goals and 32 points in 113 NHL games with the Ducks and Coyotes.

Szwarz, 23, was a 2009 fourth-round pick (No. 97) of the Coyotes. In 26 games last season, he had three goals, 19 penalty minutes and a minus-6 rating.
