The Vancouver Canucks have signed two restricted free agents, forward Zack Kassian and defenseman Yannick Weber to contracts, the team announced Friday.

Kassian's two-year contract is worth $3.5 million, Elliott Pap of the Vancouver Sun reported Thursday. Weber's contract is for one season at $850,00, Farhan Lalji of TSN reported Friday.

Kassian, 23, had career highs of 73 games played, 14 goals, 15 assists, 29 points and 124 penalty minutes with the Canucks in 2013-14. He has 25 goals, 50 points and 226 penalty minutes in 156 NHL games with the Canucks and Buffalo Sabres, who took him with the 13th pick in the first round of the 2009 NHL Draft. He was acquired by the Canucks on Feb. 27, 2012. He has no points in eight Stanley Cup Playoff games, all with Vancouver.

Weber had six goals and 10 points in 49 games for the Canucks in 2013-14. He has 11 goals and 42 points in 164 career games with Vancouver and the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens selected Weber in the third round (No. 73) of the 2007 NHL Draft.
