Canadiens sign forwards Crisp, Carr

The Montreal Canadiens on Thursday signed forwards Connor Crisp and Daniel Carr.

Crisp, 20, signed a three-year contract. Carr, 22, signed a two-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Crisp scored 28 goals and 55 points in 67 games this season for the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League, and two goals in seven games for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. Montreal selected him in the third round (No. 71) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

Carr recently completed his senior season with Union College, helping it win its first NCAA national championship. He led the team in scoring with 50 points (22 goals) and was plus-26. Carr had totals of 78 goals and 157 points in 160 games at Union.
