NEWARK, N.J. - New York Rangers defenceman John Moore is sitting out Saturday night's game against the New Jersey Devils because of concussion-like symptoms.

Moore, who had missed only two games this season, was hurt Friday night at Columbus when Blue Jackets forward Blake Comeau knocked him headfirst into the boards in the first period. He sat out the rest of the period, returned in the second, and didn't play in the third.

Raphael Diaz, acquired from Vancouver at the trade deadline, was in the Rangers' lineup for the first time since the deal.

Moore has three goals and 10 assists. Diaz, who was traded by Montreal to Vancouver in February, has one goal and 12 assists in 52 games this season.
