The Boston Bruins became the first team to reserve a spot in the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Friday, and a Western Conference power can join them Saturday.

The San Jose Sharks could book a spot in the playoffs if they defeat the Washington Capitals in any fashion, and either the Ottawa Senators defeat the Dallas Stars in any fashion or the Boston Bruins defeat the Phoenix Coyotes in regulation. The Sharks would clinch if they earn one point against the Capitals and the Senators defeat the Stars in regulation.

The St. Louis Blues would clinch a berth if the Senators defeat the Stars in any fashion, or if the Bruins defeat the Coyotes in any fashion. St. Louis could have clinched by earning a point against the Philadelphia Flyers but lost 4-1 Saturday afternoon.
