Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad will not play Tuesday when the Blackhawks visit the Philadelphia Flyers (7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN, TSN2).
Saad sustained an upper-body injury in the second period of the Blackhawks' 4-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday and did not return to the game.
It would be the first game Saad has missed this season. The 21-year-old forward has 19 goals and 44 points, and is tied with defenseman Brent Seabrook for the team-high in plus-minus at plus-29.
