Flames' Granlund leaves game with injury

CALGARY -- Calgary Flames forward Markus Granlund left the game against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday with an upper-body injury and will not return.

Granlund, 20, played 12 seconds before leaving the game after taking a hit from Kings forward Jarret Stoll.

The injury-depleted Flames are already without forwards Jiri Hudler (lower body), Curtis Glencross (high ankle sprain), David Jones (upper body) and Kevin Westgarth (upper body). Defenseman Dennis Wideman (upper body) and goaltender Karri Ramo (lower body) are also out due to injury while forward Matt Stajan is away from the team on personal leave.

In six games this season, Granlund has two goals and an assist.
