Mouillierat scores three times as IceCaps down Wolf Pack for third straight win

HARTFORD, Conn. - Kael Mouillierat scored three times and set up one more as the St. John's IceCaps downed the host Hartford Wolf Pack 6-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League play.

Jason Jaffray had a goal and two assists for the IceCaps (23-16-3), who won their third game in a row, while Jerome Samson and Adam Lowry each scored once.

Jesper Fast scored twice for the Wolf Pack (13-22-5) and Oscar Lindberg assisted on both.

Michael Hutchinson made 24 saves for St. John's as Hartford's David LeNeveu turned away 21-of-27 shots in a losing cause.

Jaffray and Lowry scored to make it 2-0 for the IceCaps after 20 minutes of play and Mouillierat added two more for St John's within 53 seconds early in the second period.

Fast made it 4-1 late in the second and then added another early in the third to cut Hartford's deficit down to two. But, Samson made it 5-2 with a power-play goal at 2:24 and Mouillierat capped off his hat trick at 6:02.

The IceCaps went 1 for 6 on the power play while the Wolf Pack scored twice on five chances with the man advantage.
