NEW YORK, N.Y. - The St. Louis Blues activated forward Maxim Lapierre from the injured list after he missed five games because of a lower-body injury.

Lapierre, injured late in the Jan. 10 game against the Vancouver Canucks, was in the lineup on Thursday night when the Blues visited the New York Rangers. To make room on the roster, forward Adam Cracknell was sent down to Chicago of the AHL.

Lapierre has six goals and three assists in 39 games this season.

St. Louis also got right wing Vladimir Tarasenko back in the lineup after he sat out two games because of an illness. Veteran forward Derek Roy was a healthy scratch, missing only his second game of the season.

Roy has gone 18 games without a goal.
