ST. LOUIS - Patrick Berglund scored twice, Vladimir Sobotka and Alex Pietrangelo each had a goal and an assist and the St. Louis Blues beat Columbus 6-2 on Saturday night for their fifth straight win.

Columbus, up 2-0 lead after the first period, has lost three of four after winning three in a row.

Maxim Lapierre gave St. Louis a 3-2 late in the second period, 1:34 after Sobotka tied it.

Jaden Schwartz also scored, and Brian Elliott made 21 saves. Elliott has won 13 consecutive home games, extending a franchise record he set with a 5-0 victory over Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Artem Anisimov and Mark Letestu scored for Columbus.

BRUINS 4, JETS 1

BOSTON (AP) — Defenceman Torey Krug had two goals and an assist, and Tuukka Rask made 36 saves in Boston's victory over Winnipeg.

Daniel Paille also scored for Boston. The Bruins have won five of their last seven games heading into a three-game California trip.

Dustin Byfuglien scored and Ondrej Pavelec stopped 25 shots for Winnipeg.

AVALANCHE 4, SHARKS 3

DENVER (AP) — Nathan MacKinnon had his first two-goal game and Semyon Varlamov stopped 30 shots to help Colorado hold off San Jose for its third straight victory.

Jamie McGinn and Erik Johnson also scored for Colorado. The Avalanche have 56 points at the halfway point of the season, second-most in team history behind the 2000-01 team.

Joe Pavelski, Patrick Marleau and Logan Couture scored for the Sharks.

FLYERS 5, COYOTES 3

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Jakub Voracek scored the winner with 8:08 left and Philadelphia overcame a two-goal deficit to beat Phoenix.

Scott Hartnell, Brayden Schenn, Wayne Simmonds and Claude Giroux also scored for the Flyers.

Rob Klinkhammer, Lauri Korpikoski and Mikkel Boedker scored for Phoenix. Copyotes captain Shane Doan played for the first time since Dec. 4 after a bout with Rocky Mountain Fever.

WILD 5, CAPITALS 3

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Ryan Suter scored three goals to help Minnesota beat Washington.

Suter completed the first hat trick by a Wild defenceman with 12:23 to play in the third.

Nino Niederreiter and Jason Zucker also scored for Minnesota.

Mike Green scored twice and Marcus Johansson added a goal for Washington.

RANGERS 7, MAPLE LEAFS 1

TORONTO (AP) — Dominic Moore scored twice, and Carl Hagelin had a goal and an assist in New York's blowout victory over Toronto.

Benoit Pouliot, Chris Kreider, Brad Richards and Brian Boyle also scored for New York, and Cam Talbot stopped 25 shots. Joffrey Lupul scored for Toronto.

RED WINGS 5, STARS 1

DALLAS (AP) — Jimmy Howard made 44 saves and Henrik Zetterberg scored twice, leading Detroit past Dallas.

Joakim Andersson, Drew Miller and Tomas Tatar also scored for Detroit.

Rich Peverley had a short-handed goal for Dallas.

PANTHERS 5, PREDATORS 4, SO

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — Tomas Kopecky scored the winner in the sixth round of a shootout, and Florida beat Nashville after wasting a two-goal lead late in the third period.

Kopecky also scored in regulation and Marcel Goc, Sean Bergenheim and Brad Boyes added goals for the Panthers. Tim Thomas made 38 saves in his second start after missing eight games because of a groin injury.

Paul Gaustad, Seth Jones, Mike Fisher and Craig Smith scored in regulation for Nashville.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Matt Moulson and Matt D'Agostini had power-play goals to lead Buffalo past New Jersey.

Ryan Miller made 21 saves to help Buffalo run its home winning streak to five.

Michael Ryder scored for New Jersey.

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Jordan Staal and Brett Sutter scored a 57-second span in second period, and Carolina New York for its third consecutive victory.

Manny Malhotra also scored for the Hurricanes. John Tavares and Thomas Vanek scored for New York.

SENATORS 4, CANADIENS 3, OT

MONTREAL (AP) — Clarke MacArthur scored on a power play 58 seconds into overtime to lift Ottawa past Montreal.

Erik Condra, Colin Greening and Mark Stone also scored for Ottawa. Daniel Briere had two goals and an assist for Montreal, and Brian Gionta also scored.
