BOG approves Canadian TV rights agreement

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- The National Hockey League's Board of Governors on Monday approved a 12-year national Canadian broadcast and multimedia rights agreement with Rogers Communications. The $5.2-billion agreement, the largest media rights deal in League history, begins with the 2014-15 season and continues through the 2025-26 season.
