Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman James Wisniewski will be sidelined for about a week with an upper-body injury, coach Todd Richards told reporters Sunday. According to the Columbus Dispatch, David Savard will take his place in the lineup.

Wisniewski leads Columbus defensemen with 18 points (16 assists).

Richards said forward Matt Calvert (upper body), who was injured in a 4-0 win Friday against the Minnesota Wild, and forward Brandon Dubinsky, whose wife gave birth to their son Brady Charles last week, each practiced Sunday and will play against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.

Forward Jared Boll (foot) sustained a setback in his recovery and will remain sidelined.
