NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Predators captain Shea Weber is skating again and wearing a visor after a scary eye injury in which he took a puck to the face and was unable to see that night.

Weber practiced Friday and is with the Predators on a road trip where they play Saturday night at Washington before visiting the Rangers.

As a veteran, Weber has been among those players allowed to play without a visor. He says he will see how it goes when asked if he'll wear the visor permanently.

The Predators certainly need their captain back. The defenceman has missed three games and was their leading goal scorer when hurt Nov. 28 in a loss to Edmonton. Nashville has lost three straight without him.
