Ducks recall Etem, Steckel from AHL

The Anaheim Ducks have recalled forwards Emerson Etem and David Steckel from Norfolk of the American Hockey League.

Etem has spent most of this season with the Ducks, scoring six goals with 10 points in 24 games. Reassigned to the AHL on Nov. 27, he had one goal and five points in three games with the Admirals.

Steckel, who signed a one-year contract on Nov. 11, played in 21 games for the Ducks last season, and had one goal and six points. In his NHL career, which also includes stints with the Washington Capitals, New Jersey Devils and Toronto Maple Leafs, Steckel has 33 goals and 79 points in 419 games. He has three goals and three assists in 17 AHL games this season for the Iowa Wild and Norfolk.
