NHL Network tripleheader on Saturday

NHL Network-U.S. will get an early start to the Thanksgiving celebration with a weekend hockey smorgasbord.

Saturday will feature a tripleheader, staring with the Carolina Hurricanes visiting the Boston Bruins for a 1 p.m. ET puck drop. The Bruins will be looking for a repeat of the teams' game Monday when Reilly Smith and Carl Soderberg each had a goal and an assist in the Bruins' 4-1 win in Raleigh.

Then at 7 p.m. ET the Washington Capitals and hot-shooting captain Alex Ovechkin will visit the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ovechkin is tied for the League lead with 17 goals and has 40 goals in his past 43 games.

The night concludes out west at 10 p.m. ET with the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks playing at the Vancouver Canucks. The Blackhawks are 7-2-1 in their past 10 but the Canucks won two of three games against the Blackhawks last season.
