Montreal Canadiens recall Gabriel Dumont, Greg Pateryn from AHL Bulldogs

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Gabriel Dumont and defenceman Greg Pateryn from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Dumont, a fifth round draft pick of the Canadiens in 2009, has four assists and 20 penalty minutes in 12 games with the Bulldogs this season.

The 23-year-old split last season between Hamilton and Montreal, recording 16 goals and 15 assists in 55 regular season games with the Bulldogs. In 10 regular season games with the Canadiens, Dumont had one goal and two assists.

Pateryn has three goals and four assists in seven AHL games this season. He recorded seven goals and five assists in 39 regular season games with Hamilton last year, and had zero points in three NHL games with Montreal.

Pateryn was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round of the 2008 Draft.
