Bailey took a feed from Frans Nielsen in front of the net and beat goalie Jeff Zatkoff for his fourth goal of the season. The Islanders scored three times in the final 7:14 and erased deficits of 2-1 and 3-2.
Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby scored his eighth goal of the season and now has an NHL-high 18 points. Jussi Jokinen and Deryk Engelland also beat Nabokov but couldn't stop the Penguins from losing their second straight.
Zatkoff, playing in his second NHL game, made 21 saves.
BLUE JACKETS 5, MAPLE LEAFS 2
Bobrovsky, last season's Vezina Trophy winner as the NHL's top goalie, had 23 saves.
Brandon Dubinsky added a short-handed goal, Nick Foligno also scored, Ryan Johansen had an empty-netter, and rookie defenceman Ryan Murray notched his first career goal for the Blue Jackets, who have won three in a row since losing four straight. Dubinsky and Foligno each also had an assist.
It was the first time the Blue Jackets scored more than four goals in a game this season.
SABRES 3, PANTHERS 1
Hodgson scored an empty-net goal with 47 seconds left.
Jesse Winchester scored for Florida, and Markstrom stopped 18 shots. Florida lost for the fifth time in six games despite taking a season-high 45 shots.
The Panthers outshot the Sabres 18-4 in the first period, and led in shots 34-14 through 40 minutes.

Patrick Maroon also scored for the Ducks, who are three games into the trip.
Anaheim was coming off a 4-1 loss to the Montreal on Thursday.
The Senators' best period was the third, but Andersen stopped all 12 shots he faced.
CANUCKS 3, BLUES 2, OT
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Ryan Kesler scored his second goal of the game at 4:45 of overtime during a power play to lift Vancouver over St. Louis.
Backup goalie Eddie Lack made 22 saves for the Canucks, who went 5-1-1 on their seven-game road trip.
