Brennan has three goals, assist to power Marlies to 6-3 home win over St. John's

TORONTO - T.J. Brennan scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Toronto Marlies to a 6-3 win over the St. John's IceCaps in American Hockey League action Saturday afternoon.

The six-foot-one, 213-pound American has seven goals and three assists for Toronto (3-0-0) this season.

Wade MacLeod, John-Michael Liles and Stefan Legein had the other goals for Toronto while Drew MacIntyre stopped 21 shots.

Andrew Gordon, Jerome Samson and Will O'Neill scored for St. John's (1-2-1). Jussi Olkinuora turned aside 27 shots.
