Tampa Bay Lightning forward Tom Pyatt is out indefinitely with a broken collarbone, coach Jon Cooper told reporters Wednesday.

Pyatt suffered the injury in the third period of his season debut Tuesday, a 3-2 Lightning win over the Buffalo Sabres in overtime. He missed Tampa Bay's first two games with an upper-body injury.

Pyatt, 26, had 16 points in 43 games with the Lightning last season.
