Raymond joins Maple Leafs on tryout agreement

Mason Raymond has joined the Toronto Maple Leafs on a professional tryout agreement, the team announced Sunday night.

The 27-year-old left wing spent his entire career with the Vancouver Canucks after being selected in the second round (No. 51) of the 2005 NHL Draft. He had 10 goals and 12 assists in 46 games for Vancouver last season.

In 374 games, Raymond has 80 goals and 98 assists. He has eight goals and 10 assists in 55 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
