The Buffalo Sabres on Friday re-signed restricted free agents Brian Flynn and Nick Crawford. No financial terms were disclosed.

Flynn, who turns 25 next week, got a two-year deal. The center made his NHL debut with the Sabres in 2012-13, scoring six goals and finishing with 11 points in 26 games. The University of Maine alumnus had 16 goals and 32 points in 45 games with the Rochester Americans, the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate.

Crawford, a 23-year-old defenseman, was Buffalo's sixth-round pick (No. 164) in the 2008 NHL Draft. He received a one-year contract after spending three seasons with the Sabres’ AHL affiliates, with 18 goals and 72 points in 199 games with Rochester and the Portland Pirates.

Crawford had five goals and 19 points in 53 games for Rochester last season.
