Blues sign forwards Lapierre, Aucoin

The St. Louis Blues on Friday signed forward Maxim Lapierre to a two-year contract and forward Keith Aucoin to a one-year deal.

Lapierre, 28, played all 48 games for the Vancouver Canucks in 2012-13, posting 10 points (four goals) and 45 penalty minutes.

Lapierre has appeared in eight NHL seasons, including stints with the Montreal Canadiens, Anaheim Ducks and Vancouver, totaling 113 points (54 goals) and 476 penalty minutes in 463 games. In 69 Stanley Cup Playoff games, Lapierre has 13 points (six goals) and 140 penalty minutes.

Aucoin, 34, played 41 games for the New York Islanders in 2012-13, posting 12 points (six goals). He also appeared in 34 games with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, registering 37 points (10 goals) and 40 penalty minutes.

Aucoin has played parts of eight NHL seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Capitals and New York.

The Blues also signed forwards Alexandre Bolduc and Mark Mancari each to a one-year, two-way contract.

Bolduc, 28, played 14 games with the Phoenix Coyotes in 2012-13. Mancari, 27, dressed in 76 games for the Rochester Americans of the AHL, posting 61 points (22 goals).
