MONTREAL – Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Kent Huskins left Monday's game against the Montreal Canadiens with what the team is reporting to be a concussion after taking a hit from Montreal forward Ryan White.
At 6:11 of the first period, White hit Huskins directly in the jaw with a glancing blow with his shoulder, sending Husking to the Flyers' dressing room under his own power.
White was immediately challenged by Flyers defenseman Kurtis Foster, and he was assessed a major penalty for a hit to the head, a major fighting and a match penalty.
