Trailing 2-0, the Panthers closed to 2-1 on a goal by Upshall in the second. After his initial shot was blocked, Upshall charged the net and was able to poke in the rebound at 4:10.
Morrow added an empty-netter with 21 seconds left.

The Penguins took a 1-0 lead on Letang's goal. Morrow brought the puck out from behind the net to Beau Bennett, who passed from the right circle out to Letang. His slap shot from just inside the blue line got past Markstrom at 14:49.
Morrow's first goal of the game gave the Penguins a 2-0 lead. He poked the puck from behind the goal line at the side of the net and it bounced off Markstrom and across the goal line at 18:27.
According to STATS, the Penguins are 24-13-5 since 2008 without both Crosby and Malkin in the lineup.
