Marcus Power scored 2:31 into overtime as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies came from behind to defeat the visiting Quebec Remparts 5-4 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoff action.
The 19-year-old centreman has scored in back-to-back games against Quebec after being held scoreless in his first seven playoff games.
Liam O'Brien scored once for Rouyn-Noranda, which trailed 3-1 after 20 minutes and 4-3 heading into the third period, and Sven Andrighetto chipped in a single assist to extend his post-season point streak to nine games.
Grigorenko's goal was his first point of the series after being held scoreless in the first three games. Despite his lack in production this round, he still leads his club with four goals and 13 points in 10 contests.
Alexandre Belanger stopped 28-of-32 shots for the win as Francois Brassard made 30 saves in defeat.
Rouyn-Noranda went 3 for 8 on the power play while Quebec scored twice on three chances with the man advantage.
The Huskies can wrap up the series on Friday when they host the Remparts for Game 5 at the Arena Iamgold. If Rouyn-Noranda is able to advance, it would be the first times it's seen third-round action since the 2007-08 season when they made it to the QMJHL final against the Gatineau Olympiques, a series it dropped in five games.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL, it was: Baie-Comeau 2, Victoriaville 1; Halifax 5, Gatineau 3 and Blainville-Boisbriand 2, Val-d'Or 1.
At Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Duclair opened the scoring 3:56 into the first period to give the Remparts a 1-0 lead.
Desjardins tied the game on the power-play goal at 8:04, but Sorensen and Grigorenko responded with power-play goals for Quebec exactly two minutes apart to put their club ahead two goals after 20 minutes of action.
Dea and Desjardins evened the score 3-3 early in the second period when they both scored with the man advantage, however Duclair regained Quebec's lead with 23 seconds left in the second.
O'Brien forced overtime at 8:31 of the third period.
Drakkar 2 Tigres 1
At Victoriaville, Que., Brandon Whitney stopped 41-of-43 shots for the Tigres, but Maxime Lamarche broke a 1-1 tie at 12:54 of the third period for the Drakkar, who will advance to the third-round after sweeping Victoriaville.
Mooseheads 5 Olympiques 3
At Gatineau, Que., Stefan Fournier scored three times and Jonathan Drouin had a goal and an assist as the Mooseheads beat the Olympiques for a four-game sweep and a spot in the third round of post-season play. Halifax will face either Quebec or Rouyn-Noranda in the third round.
Armada 2 Foreurs 1
At Val-d'Or, Que., Tommy Giroux had a goal and an assist and Etienne Marcoux turned away 26-of-27 shots as the Armada downed the Foreurs to sweep the series and advance to the third round. Blainville-Boisbriand will matchup with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the third round, however a date for Game 1 has yet to be determined.
