Graovac with goal and an assist as Bulls take 2-0 series lead

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Tyler Graovac led the way with two points for the Belleville Bulls as they took down the visiting Mississauga Steelheads by a 4-1 score Saturday night in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Graovac had a goal and an assist for Belleville, which now holds a 2-0 series lead in the first-round matchup.

The Bulls also got goals from Joseph Cramarossa, Carter Sandlak and Jake Cardwell.

Spenser Cobbold scored the lone goal for the Steelheads.

Belleville's offense started early when Graovac scored on the power play 2:24 into the first period.

Mississauga answered back with a great individual effort from Cobbold who rushed end-to-end before snapping a shot past Malcolm Subban at 13:34.

Cramarossa regained the lead for the Bulls on a breakaway before the end of the first.

Sandlak scored his second goal of the series at 16:01 of the second period after gaining the Mississauga zone and cutting to the slot to snipe a shot over the glove of Steelheads' goaltender Tyson Teichmann.

Cardwell closed out the scoring 3:31 into the third period.

Subban made 29 stops for Belleville as Teichmann turned aside 37 shots for Mississauga.

The Bulls went 1 for 4 on the power play while the Steelheads failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.

Game 3 is set for Sunday Mar. 24th in Mississauga when the Steelheads host the Bulls at the Hershey Centre.
