Jets face conference rivals with a lot of confidence in their goaltending

WINNIPEG - After back-to-back home wins that make a playoff run seem like a strong possibility, the Winnipeg Jets head to Toronto and Ottawa this weekend.

They haven't lost a game in regulation time since March 5 and coach Claude Noel and the players agree Ondrej Pavelec's goaltending is a big reason for their success.

Noel says some of the saves he's made are unbelievable.

One of the latest was the penalty shot he blocked Thursday night as the Jets beat the New York Rangers 3-1, following a 5-2 win over the Leafs Tuesday.

Pavelec says it's all about winning.

He says his confidence is up and the whole team is performing well since a wakeup call after a flat first period last week in New Jersey that led to a shootout loss.
