Gavrus three goals, Milne four assists as the Attack crush the Otters

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Arturs Gavrus scored three times and Daniel Milne had four assists as the Owen Sound Attack crushed the visiting Erie Otters 9-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Zach Nastasiuk scored once and set up two more for the Attack (40-18-6) while Daniel Catenacci, Gemel Smith, Steven Janes, Jaden Lindo and Chris Bigras had a goal apiece.

Luke Cairns scored the lone goal for the Otters (18-38-8), who came into the game with just two wins in their last 10 outings, and Connor Crisp was a team-worst minus-5 in the loss.

Jordan Binnington made 25 saves for the win as Oscar Dansk took the loss after allowing five goals on 18 shots before getting pulled midway through the second period. Devin Williams replaced Dansk and stopped 20-of-24 shots in 29 minutes of action.

Owen Sound went 0 for 2 on the power play while Erie failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
