Lightning's Garon suffers lower-body injury

PITTSBURGH -- Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Mathieu Garon left Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins 2:19 into the second period with a lower-body injury and will not return.

Garon was seen moving gingerly after lunging his pad out to his left to stop an Evgeni Malkin chance on a power play about a minute earlier.

Anders Lindback replaced Garon, who had given up one goal on 13 shots.
