Biggs scores winner as the Generals edge the Battalion

OSHAWA, Ont. - Tyler Biggs scored the winner with 3:05 remaining in the third period as the Oshawa Generals edged the visiting Brampton Battalion 3-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Boone Jenner assisted on the winning goal and had two points in the game, including his 40th goal of the season to open the scoring 6:52 into the game.

Lucas Lessio had the other goal for the Generals (37-21-4), who won their fourth straight game.

Brandon Robinson and Barclay Goodrow scored for the Battalion (28-24-9).

Daniel Altshuller made 21 saves for his league-leading 33rd win of the season while Matej Machovsky stopped 20 shots in defeat.

The Generals were 2 for 5 on the power play while the Battalion failed to score on its only opportunity.
