Broadhurst scores winner as Knights extend win streak to four games

LONDON, Ont. - Alex Broadhurst scored the winning goal at 13:38 of the third period as the London Knights downed the visiting Saginaw Spirit 3-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Max Domi and Olli Maatta also scored for the Knights (43-12-4), who extended their win streak to four games, while Anthony Stolarz made 22 saves for the win.

Eric Locke and Garret Ross each had a goal and an assist for the Spirit (29-25-6), who have dropped back-to-back contests, and Jake Paterson stopped 35-of-38 shots in a losing cause.

Locke's two-point outing extended his point streak to 16 games and includes 15 goals and 22 assists.

London went 1 for 6 on the power play while Saginaw scored once on nine chances with the man advantage.
