Blades down the Warriors for 15th straight victory

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - The Saskatoon Blades earned their 15th straight victory on Saturday as they downed the host Moose Jaw Warriors 7-1 in Western Hockey League play.

Matt Revel, Darren Dietz and Dalton Thrower each had a goal and an assist for the Blades (38-21-3) while Graeme Craig, Erik Benoit and Nathan Burns had two assists apiece.

Matej Stranksy, Brenden Walker, Nick Zajac and Collin Valcourt also scored for Saskatoon.

Tanner Eberle scored the lone goal for the Warriors (21-32-9).

Andrey Makarov stopped 34-of-35 shots for the win as Justin Paulic allowed seven goals on 40 shots in a losing cause.

Saskatoon went 3 for 5 on the power play while Moose Jaw scored once on 10 chances with the man advantage.
