CHICAGO -- Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville termed center Dave Bolland day-to-day with an upper-body injury following Chicago's 2-1 win against the San Jose Sharks on Friday.

Bolland played 13 shifts totaling 11:37 of ice time through two periods but did not return for the third period. His last shift of the game came right before Viktor Stalberg scored with 3:20 left in the second period to tie the game at 1-1.

Bolland has seven points in 16 games this season. He has been centering the Blackhawks' second line between right wing Patrick Kane and left wing Patrick Sharp.

He did not play Feb. 2 against Calgary due to a lower-body injury.
