Reimer went down early in the second period and had to be helped from the ice. After the game, Leafs coach Randy Carlyle was hopeful that Reimer won't miss too much time.
"He is probably going to miss some time, but it won't be a long, drawn-out process as far as our assessment," Carlyle said. "There will be more tests tomorrow and we will have an update."
Reimer was credited with a win for his effort; he made 12 saves and allowed a goal in the 24 minutes he played. It was his third consecutive win and he improved to 6-3-0 this season.
Meanwhile, the Flyers were without forward Sean Couturier. A team representative confirmed that he was suffering from flu-like symptoms. The 20-year-old had not missed any of the Flyers' 12 games heading into Monday's action.
