SASKATOON - Michael Ferland and Matej Stransky each scored twice as the Saskatoon Blades hammered the Prince Albert Raiders 7-1 in Western Hockey League play Wednesday.
Shane McColgan, Erik Benoit and Collin Valcourt also scored for Saskatoon (29-21-3), which won its sixth straight game to move to within four points of the East Division-leading Raiders.
Leon Draisaitl scored the lone goal for Prince Albert (30-19-5) in the third period.
Andrey Makarov made 30 saves for Saskatoon, while Luke Siemens was pulled from the Raiders' net after stopping 28-of-33 shots. He was replaced by Andy Desautels, who gave up two goals on 13 shots.
