Bertuzzi scores twice as the Storm double up the Spitfires

WINDSOR, Ont. - Tyler Bertuzzi scored two goals as the Guelph Storm doubled up the host Windsor Spitfires 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League play.

Brock McGinn had a goal and an assist for the Storm (29-16-5), who won for the first time in three outings, while Andrey Pedan chipped in with three assists.

Zach Mitchell and Scott Kosmachuk each scored once to round out Guelph's offence.

Alex Aleardi had a goal and two assists for the Spitfires (21-23-7), who sit six points behind the Saginaw Spirit for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and Trevor Murphy and Alexander Khokhlachev had a goal apiece.

Garret Sparks made 24 saves for his 26th victory of the season as Jordan DeKort stopped 31-of-36 shots in a losing cause.

Guelph went 0 for 2 on the power play while Windsor scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
