SASKATOON - Michael Ferland scored three goals and assisted on one more as the Saskatoon Blades downed the visiting Swift Current Broncos 4-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Matej Stranksy had a goal and an assist for the Blades (27-21-3), who have won four games in a row, while Darren Dietz and Brenden Walker chipped in with two assists each.
Richard Nedomlel scored the lone goal for the Broncos (25-23-5).
Andrey Makarov stopped 27 shots for the win as Eetu Laurikainen made 38 saves in a losing cause.
Saskatoon went 1 for 3 on the power play while Swift Current scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
