Lockhart scores the only goal of the shootout as Seattle beats Lethbridge 6-5

KENT, Wash. - Luke Lockhart scored the only goal of the shootout Sunday to lift the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 6-5 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Western Hockey League.

Seattle goaltender Brandon Glover denied all three Lethbridge shooters in the tiebreaker to help the Thunderbirds (18-26-3) win for the second straight game.

Lethbridge (22-21-7), meanwhile, has now dropped two in a row.

Ten different players scored in regulation. Michael Sofillas, Sam Mckechnie, Jamal Watson, Adam Henry and Jaimen Yakubowski had the goals for Lethbridge, while Connor Sanvido, Connor Honey, Andrew Johnson, Justin Hickman and Roberts Lipsbergs replied for Seattle.

Macoy Erkamps had three assists for Lethbridge. Jerret Smith and Shea Theodore both had two assists for Seattle.

Glover made 31 saves in regulation and overtime to get the win, while Ty Rimmer stopped 55 shots at the other end.
