LONDON, Ont. - Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 32 shots as the Windsor Spitfires downed the host London Knights 5-2 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Remy Giftopoulos, Josh Ho-Sang, Adam Bateman, Alex Aleardi and Nick Ebert scored for the Spitfires (18-19-7) while Kerby Rychel chipped in with three assists.
Ryan Rupert and Dakota Mermis scored for the Knights (35-8-3), who are winless in three games.
Jake Patterson picked up the loss after allowing three goals on eight shots through 11 minutes of action. Anthony Stolarz stopped 20-of-21 shots in relief.
Windsor went 2 for 7 on the power play while London failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
