Grist scores in OT as the Blazers beat the Cougars

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Sam Grist scored 3:01 into overtime as the Kamloops Blazers edged the host Prince George Cougars 2-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Dylan Willick also scored for the Blazers (29-12-4), who won for the first time in three outings, and Cole Cheveldave stopped 26-of-27 shots for the win.

Colin Jacobs scored for the Cougars (13-24-6) as Mac Engel made 32 saves in a losing cause.

Kamloops went 0 for 2 with the power play while Prince George scored once on five chances with the man advantage.
