Cam Lanigan perfect in Medicine Hat Tigers 4-0 win over Vancouver Giants

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Cam Lanigan made 31 saves and Blake Penner scored his first-ever Western Hockey League goal as the Medicine Hat Tigers beat the Vancouver Giants 4-0 on Tuesday night.

Lanigan's shutout was his first of the season for Medicine Hat (19-20-3), which also got goals from Trevor Cox, Jacob Doty and Gavin Broadhead.

Payton Lee made 30 saves for Vancouver (11-31-0).

Penner scored 1:21 into his 33rd game for his hometown team, and later assisted on Broadhead's late marker.

Doty's goal extended his scoring streak to five games, while Elgin Pearce had an assist to extend his points streak to eight contests.
