Kea scores twice as Spirit beat the Attack

SAGINAW, Mich. - Justin Kea scored twice and set up one more as the Saginaw Spirit beat the visiting Owen Sound Attack 6-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Jimmy Lodge and Eric Locke each had a goal and an assist for the Spirit (16-19-5) while Andrey Alexeev and Gregg Sutch added single goals.

Gemel Smith and Keevin Cutting scored for the Attack (25-11-3), who are winless in their last three outings.

Nikita Serebryakov made 31 saves for the win as Brandon Hope took the loss after allowing four goals on 15 shots through 24 minutes of action. Aaron Taylor stopped 18-of-20 shots in relief.

Saginaw went 1 for 6 on the power play while Owen Sound scored once on seven chances with the man advantage.
