PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Hunter Shinkaruk scored twice as the Medicine Hat Tigers cruised past the Prince Albert Raiders 5-2 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.
Elgin Pearce, Curtis Valk and Jacob Doty also scored for the Tigers (17-20-2), who scored three unanswered goals for a 3-0 lead.
Jayden Hart and Anthony Bardaro replied for Prince Albert (24-12-3).
The game came one day after both teams completed a five-player trade that included Hart going to the Raiders.
Cam Lanigan stopped 13 shots in net for Medicine Hat, while Andy Desautels made 31 saves.
