OSHAWA, Ont. - Patrick Watling scored with just 29 seconds remaining in regulation Tuesday to lift to the Guelph Storm to a 2-1 win over the Oshawa Generals at the General Motors Centre.

With the game tied at 1-1 and overtime looking likely, the Storm centre beat Oshawa's Daniel Altshuller with a shot between the legs to break the tie and allow the Storm to improve to 21-11-4.

Watling also assisted on Justin Auger's second-period goal, while Keegan Wilson was impressive in the Guelph goal, stopping 43 of 44 shots to record the victory. Auger also had an assist on the winner for a two-point afternoon.

Oshawa's lone goal came on a second period power play from Brian Hughes. Altshuller made 27 saves, while Oshawa, which played with just 15 skaters, fell to 21-14-3 with the loss.

The Generals held the decisive advantage in shots at 44-29, including 16-7 in the third period, while going one-for-eight on the power play. Guelph went scoreless in four man-advantage opportunities.
