REGINA - Chandler Stephenson scored twice and set up four more to lead the Regina Pats to a 6-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League on Sunday night.
Regina (15-21-4) also got plenty of production from Morgan Klimchuk with one goal and four assists.
Rounding out the scoring for the Pats were Lane Scheidl and Kyle Burroughs, each with a goal and two assists, and Colten Mayor with one goal while goaltender Matt Hewitt made 18 saves.
Scoring for Saskatoon (19-18-1) were Darren Dietz with a goal and an assist and Matthew Pufahl.
The last two times these teams met was a home-and-home series earlier this month in which the Blades outscored Regina 16-0.
This time it was the Pats who poured it on, scoring five of their six goals in a 10-minute span in the second.
Stephenson, a third-round Washington Capitals pick, has four goals and four assists in his last three games since returning from a foot injury that cost him 26 games.
Regina went 4 for 7 on the power play while the Blades were 1 for 2.
Saskatoon goalie Alex Moodie made 21 saves for the loss and was relieved to start the third by Patrick Johnson, who made four saves on four shots.
