Cassels scores twice as the Generals beat the 67's

OSHAWA, Ont. - Cole Cassels scored twice, including the winner at 14:06 of the third period, as the Oshawa Generals edged the visiting Ottawa 67's 4-3 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Scott Sabourin and Chris Carlisle also scored for the Generals (20-12-3), who have won three games in a row, while Michael Dal Colle, Trevor Morbeck and Bradley Latour chipped in with two assists each.

Remy Giftopoulos scored twice for the 67's (9-24-3) and Brendan Bell had the other.

Daniel Altshuller stopped 30 shots for the win as Clint Windsor made 40 saves in a losing cause.

Oshawa went 1 for 5 on the power play while Ottawa failed to score on either of its chances with the man advantage.
